An ad hoc evangelism committee meets monthly to plan and oversee all of the witnessing and outreach ministries of the congregation. Volunteers are needed and welcome for the following ministries:
LINC
Good Shepherd is a member of Lutheran Inter-City Network Coalistion (LINC), a metroplex ministry of our church body which does work in the urban areas of Dallas/Fort Worth and in multi-cultural situations. We especially support Cristo Rompió Las Cadenas ("Christ Broke the Chains") Lutheran Mission in north Fort Worth.
Greeters
Greeters work on a monthly basis, serving before and after worship services. Greeters welcome all people, especially newcomers, answering questions and providing help and guidance around the facility. Training is provided for new volunteers by an instruction page and a brief meeting with the Greeters Leader.
