Do you know that you can support a church program and save money at the same time? You can through the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) and the Texas District Church Extension Fund. For every dollar you invest today into your own CEF account, Good Shepherd receives credit toward a future loan when plans are made to build a new sanctuary.

In the meantime, money invested in the CEF is used to aid and assist new missions to get started and build. The Missouri Synod hopes to start up to 100 new missions in Texas in the next 10 years — 11 missions started in 2004 alone! When the time comes for Good Shepherd to request a loan, the higher our investments in the CEF, the greater our assurance will be of getting the money we need.
