| Ministry Care Groups | Join Us! | |
![]() |
It is a constant prayer that every member of Good Shepherd, as well as newcomers to the church, become active in small ministry care groups which are formed on a regular basis (especially from each new member class). Groups generally meet every week or so, often in members' homes, for Bible study, fellowship, outreach, and service. Good Shepherd has three small group care ministries meeting on a regular basis: Bob Voyles Group (Azle/Springtown area): A wonderful group for retired folks and others who are free during the daytime hours. This group meets every Tuesday morning. Sherree Wood Group (Asle/Springtown area): This group meets every Thursday night and is led by Cynthia Chapa, president of the Lutherans For Life of Texas. Craig Schinnerer Group (Saginaw area): This group meets on select Friday nights. Small children are most welcome at this gathering. Small ministry care groups offer a growth in God's Word that you won't find anywhere else — small discussion groups where you can ask questions and take time to talk about personal issues, Bible facts, relationships, and more. |
It's easy to join a small care group — just show up! Contact Pastor Schinnerer to find out how to get involved in a care group, or how you can start a small group of your own!
